Big Air in Torgnon: 120 young riders take center stage for a day of snowboarding in the Aosta Valley

120 young snowboarders take part in a snowboarding event in the Aosta Valley

On Saturday, February 14, a Big Air snowboard competition took place in Torgnon, drawing 120 children and teenagers from across the Aosta Valley and reaffirming its status as one of the most popular youth events of the winter season.

Organized by the We Snowboard team, the event transformed the Torgnon park into a hub for freestyle snowboarding, offering young riders a real opportunity to test their skills in a Big Air competition within a safe and inspiring setting.

The day was filled with spectacular jumps, tricks, and runs, but what made the event truly special was the atmosphere: sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a passion for snowboarding brought athletes, coaches, and families together. The high turnout demonstrates the steady growth of the youth snowboarding movement in the Aosta Valley and the ever-increasing interest in freestyle disciplines.

The contribution of local clubs and sponsors was essential; they supported the initiative with prizes and technical gear, making the experience even more engaging for all participants.

Events like this represent an important step in the development of snowboarding in Italy, offering young people new opportunities to grow, have fun, and get closer to the world of competition.

We Snowboard will continue to work on organizing new competitions and events dedicated to young riders, with the goal of further expanding the freestyle snowboarding community.
